The registration deadline to sign up for the 2010 Bookmans Reading Challenge closed on Friday, November 13. We had a flurry of schools racing to register in the 11th hour. We're thrilled that 75 Arizona schools from Tucson, Mesa, Phoenix, and Flagstaff signed up to vie for the $15,000 prize. We are working on finalizing the number of students participating, but so far the count is close to 30,000 and still growing.

We are so excited to kick off the Challenge this January and our goal is to promote literacy and instill a love of reading in Arizona children. Stay tuned for a complete list of the names of schools participating in your neighborhood. Cheers to Reading!
