It's time for us to introduce to you our newest product line Bookmans style! Join us for our first Bookmans Phoenix Block Party and Music Festival from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28 at Bookmans Phoenix as we showcase our brand-new musical instrument section.

Enjoy live music with local bands, Boys and Frogs and Bogan Via, free face painting and balloon twisting for the kids, a live animation demonstration provided by the Arizona SciTech Festival and Spread the Weird, discounted hot dogs for the first 95 people from Epic Hot Dogs and enter to win raffle prizes. This is a block party so we're inviting the entire community to introduce the newest product line to the Bookmans family.

You've known Bookmans as the hip place to trade and buy books, music, movies, video games and housewares but as the needs of our customers have grown, so have we. In our constant effort to listen to you, each Bookmans store acquired a musical instrument section. Bookmans Phoenix has been graced with the largest space of them all to give you a new outlet to purchase the equipment you need for your goals.

You may already know great local retailers that provide used instruments but not quite like Bookmans. Where else in Phoenix can you trade in your board games, magazines, old paperbacks and VHS tapes to save up for an electric guitar? Just like everything else in our store you can use your store credit to buy anyone of the instruments on our sales floor. That idea alone is worth looking into. We've seen drum kits, xylophones, harps, amps, plugs, mixers, guitars, violins, trumpets, flutes and more come across the trade counter and make its way to the sales floor. Just like everything else here each day brings a new surprise as to what we are selling. You can also trade in that instrument that is collecting dust or that you never found the time to play and perhaps get store credit towards a new video game console, textbook or rare Shakespeare collection.

The possibilities of how you can use our new addition are endless and we hope that by attending the Block Party, you'll get to see first hand how extensive our selection is and how serious we are about making instruments and live music a core part of what Bookmans is.
