Bookmans is proud to be a sponsor of the first annual Tucson Festival of Books at the University of Arizona, March 14-15. Over 300 authors (including Elmore Leonard and J.A. Jance) and exhibitors will converge for a full weekend of readings, signings, and activities in celebration of reading and literacy. Net proceeds will promote literacy in Southern Arizona through the Tucson Festival of Books Foundation, a 501c (3) nonprofit organization.

Bookmans will have two tents in the Exhibitors area on the University of Arizona Mall, officially dubbed the Bookmans Main Tent and the Bookmans Youth Tent. We're still hammering out the complete schedule but we can officially confirm appearances by Diana Gabaldon, Emma Bull, Will Shetterly, Charles de Lint, Megan McCafferty, Gail Carson Levine, Karen Cushman, Steam Crow, Tom Miller, and Susan Lowell throughout the weekend, with more to be announced. The Bookmans Youth Tent also has a full schedule of activities planned for kids, including a series of story times featuring Steam Crow and Bookmans canvas bag decorating.
