For round two of our summer kids' events, we brought out our exclusive, "I <3 Bookmans" tote bags that always seem to be a huge hit. We provided fun stencils and fabric markers and let the kids take it from there, and some of the bags they came up with made us jealous of their mad drawing skills and creativity. My personal favorite was the Halo tote bag featuring Master Chief and drawn completely free hand by a big brother while the little brother drew an entire scene from the game in full detail.

Parents loved the fact that when the kids were done with their bags, they could browse our sales floor for a great selection of books and toys and opt to use the re-usable tote bags at the registers over the paper bags. Kids loved the fact they made something entirely their own and learned how important small changes like saying "no" to a paper bag daily can really add up to help make the planet brighter and greener for the future.

Over 100 kids came last Thursday to help us decorate the bags and we have to thank every single one of them for help making our event successful and as always, super fun! Check out more pictures here on our Flickr page!
