Bookman's Blog

Bookmans Phoenix spread some holiday cheer this weekend starting on Friday with a guest appearance by the Peak 98.7’s new morning talk show host, Amy Van Dyke and her street team. Amy took over the Bookmans intercom and read overhead, “Twas the Night Before Christmas” for all of our shoppers to enjoy! Saturday, we celebrated the season with a creative gingerbread craft that engaged the entire family. Shoppers enjoyed gingerbread cookies while making their very own gingerbread ornaments and gingerbread friends to take home. Bookmans followed the craft with a musical performance by the Raintree Recording Group based right here in Phoenix. The group played many different types of recorders from just a few inches long up to recorders taller than most people! The recording group has played at the Phoenix location many times before and were welcomed and remembered by both employees and customers. We even had a few shoppers join in singing carols and playing instruments! Bookmans also invited a representative from the Heard Museum to set up an information booth and let people know about all the fascinating events going on at one of Phoenix’s favorite museums. Tis the season for family and togetherness and we hope that with these fun and free events, Bookmans added a bit more festive joy to your December and from all of us at Bookmans Phoenix, we sincerely wish you a Happy Holiday and all the best for the New Year!
