Last Saturday brought The Phoenix Fear Film Festival to Madcap Theaters in Tempe, and Bookmans was there with our very own spooky setup! Thirteen hours of short and feature films were the center focus while we celebrated the Nightmare After Christmas with local artists, vendors, and musicians, showing off the spooky side of Phoenix.

At the Bookmans table, attendees were asked to test their fate to receive a free fortune that allowed them to win free DVDs and fun Bookmans gift certificates! Effects artists were ready to transform film lovers into zombies, creating lifelike horrific features while spooky boutiques showed off their wares.

The festival also hosted a silent auction and raffle with all proceeds benefiting the Solid Rock Foundation, a nonprofit foundation created by local rock legend Alice Cooper. It was our pleasure to donate a gift basket full of horror-related goodies such as DVDs, books, action figures, and a $50 Bookmans gift card. Thank you to The Phoenix Fear Film Festival and Trash City Entertainment for putting on such an eclectic and entertaining event! It was like celebrating Halloween in January!
