The Tucson Community Food Bank, Skyline Flutes, and Bookmans teamed up for an evening of music and food security awareness.

Skyline Flutes is a quartet of three ladies and a gentleman who have been playing in Tucson for over two years. They played a variety of pops, standards, and light classical selections while TCFB took in non-perishable food donations. Jack of the TCFB was on hand to answer questions and discuss the community food bank.

According to the TCFB website, 329,000 households (13.2%) in Arizona struggled with hunger during 2006-2008, the 14th highest rate in the country.
