Bookmans Holiday.jpg

This weekend in Tucson, Bookmans is celebrating holiday cheer both in our stores and in the community!!  On Saturday morning, we’ll be at the corner of 4th St. and 4th Ave. from 10 A.M. – 12 P.M. offering free Bookmans bag decorating in conjunction with the 4th Ave. Street Fair.  This wonderful community event highlights the work of local artisans and is the perfect place to finish off your holiday shopping! For more information about parking, events and vendors at this year's fair, please check out the Fourth Avenue website.

Santa will be making his second Bookmans stop this Saturday for our Holiday Celebration at the Speedway/Wilmot location and is ready to hear your little one's holiday wishes!! Santa will be in the store from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M. taking FREE pictures with the kids. While the kids wait for their pictures to print, Kidz Art will help them make some beautiful holiday keepsakes, and every child will leave with a special goodie bag filled with toys and treats from Bookmans. And as a special treat for parents, we are offering FREE gift-wrapping from 10 am to 4 pm at Bookmans Speedway. So come in and shop, then relax and let us help you during this busy holiday season!

Finally, at Bookmans Ina, we are featuring the soulful sounds of the Sweet Willie D Blues Band from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. This September, the Sweet Willie D Blues Band beat out some stiff competition to win the SABHF 2009 Blues Challenge and a $2,000 travel grant provided by Bookmans. Before the band heads to Memphis for this year's International Blues Challenge, they will be making some special appearances in our Bookmans stores.  If you missed them at this year's Blues Challenge, don't miss this opportunity to hear them play some amazing American roots music in the comfort of your local Bookmans.  Check out their winning sound at the Sweet Willie D Blues Band website.
