Today even the reptiles got to take a break from the heat and come chill out in our store for a little while! Since we weren't able to take everyone out to the Desert Museum, they brought a few scaly creatures by to make friends with our youngsters. The hour-long presentation was filled with fun and interesting facts about some of the creatures that, as Tucsonans, we can find right outside our very doors! We learned that despite appearances, snakes do in fact have bones, and also a very good reason not to pick up a Desert Tortoise (unless you are helping them to cross the street, of course). Summer Kids Events at Bookmans are beginning to wind down with only two events left! Don't miss out on the fun! Our events are Tuesdays at 10 a.m. at the Ina location!
