On Oct. 8 and 9, when guests arrive to the premiere of Sugar, an all new production based on Some Like It Hot, they will enter a replica of Grauman's Chinese Theater complete with red carpets, velvet ropes, search lights, and stretch limos! And what would a Graumans' replica be without a faux Joan Rivers to greet you as you walk the red carpet? Celebrity look-alikes of Liza Minnelli, Cher, and Marilyn Monroe will be attendance during the cocktail and appetizer reception. Arrive dressed as your favorite film star and you could win a trip for two to Miami Beach's legendary Fontainebleau Hotel!

To win tickets to Some Like it Hollywood visit the Broadway Palm West website to learn what's playing for the 2010-2011 season. Then return here and tell us in our comment section, which performance you think would be the most fun to see. A winner for the Some Like it Hollywood event will be selected at random and announced Monday, Oct. 4. This event takes place in Mesa. Winners will be responsible for their own transportation and lodging, but c'mon, it's SO worth the mileage.

Based on the film Some Like It Hot, with Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon, Sugar is the hilarious musical comedy of two unemployed musicians who witness the St. Valentine's Day massacre. To escape the mob, they disguise themselves as women and join an all-girl band on their way to Miami.

The Broadway Palm Dinner Theater presents a wide variety of the finest professional entertainment for all ages in an atmosphere of casual elegance. Located in the Phoenix-Mesa area they were awarded the 2007 Mesa Business of the Year and recently named “Best Dinner and A Show” in the Phoenix New Times Best of Phoenix. For 10 years the Broadway Palm West has served our community as a beacon of creativity along with raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charitable organizations.

I could not narrow my favorite for their season to only one. I would love to see Sugar because it looks like a hoot! Also, Chicago would be a favorite as well. I have seen it before and I love this show!

I would have to say the Some Like It Hot musical sounds like the most fun for me, but as far as the family goes, The Sound of Music would be great.

Wow all of the shows for the next year look awesome, but I think my favorite one to see would have to be Annie!
