The Paw Placement of Northern Arizona puppy and kitty adoption - held in honor of July's Dog Days of Summer - went wonderfully this last Sunday. At least three animals may find new homes, if the families hoping to adopt them pass the “good pet owner” interviews!
The puppies were a gorgeous husky-shepard mix, with black and brown coats and blue and brown eyes. Most of the kittens were also an adorable black and white with sweet temperaments. One little Tabby named Tara was raised by a cat named Sookie, a lovely white mama cat who adopted Tara after losing her own kittens. Tara is the second orphaned kitten Sookie has adopted of her own free will!
Everyone enjoyed having the sweet critters in the store, but the babies and children were the most delighted to get to pet all the animals. Bookmans Flagstaff will now hold Paw Placement animal adoptions beginning at 10 a.m. the last Sunday of each month. If you need a new family pet, Bookmans may just be the place to find him!
