Pride in the Pines 2009 was a huge success in Flagstaff and Bookmans was proud to be a sponsor! The line to get in to the event wrapped around the block much of the day, and everyone seemed to be having a great time eating, drinking (lemonade and beer), listening to great music, and generally being fabulous.

Bookmans' booth was a huge hit and a popular gathering spot.  We gave out around 200 "naughty" and "nice" goodie bags, played games, handed out Skittles ("Taste the Rainbow!") and awarded gift certificates for Pride-related trivia with questions like, "How many colors are there on the Pride flag?" (Answer: six), and "Why are Pride events in June?" (Stonewall).

We also enjoyed how many adorable dogs came to Pride in the Pines this year. It almost seemed like everyone brought their best friend.
