We celebrated Independence Day early with a new 4th of July craft for the kiddos! Over 80 kids came out to create red, white and blue assorted foam bugs. Our bug kits came with everything they needed: noses, wings, antennas, stripes and stars; they just added glue and tada! These patriotic bugs came to life and swarmed, flapped and buzzed their way through out our community room and sales floor. Everyone who attended also went home with an American flag that they proudly waved and shook. The kids promised us they would whip out the flags during their 4th of July celebrations and especially during the fireworks display to show off their American pride and honor all of this great countries presidents and soldiers who have worked and fought so bravely for our freedom. We hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend and doesn’t let this intense Phoenix heat ruin the festivities. Thanks to the kids who came out to get crafty with us! You can check out the cute photos on our Flickr page.
