"Take a look, it's in a book", it's Love to Read A-Z ♫ -- and it's from 1 to 4 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 4 at Bookmans Speedway. Books from our childhood inspire and delight us such as The Stinky Cheese Man, Where the Wild Things Are, Corduroy and The Three Little Javelinas. Love of Reading month is one of our most favorite months as if you couldn't tell since the word book is in our name. Community members who are also passionate about childhood literacy and will join us including Literacy Connects, Tucson Festival of Books, Pima County Library, 9 Queens and Altrusa International.

The Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona will sell cookies, Silly Tassie will paint faces, Cat in the Hat story time and puppet shows will be performed, and kids will do crafts and have a chance to meet Ray Friesen, who will be signing and selling his books. Bookmans will present every child at the event with a free book. We don't just promote childhood literacy during February but all year long with the READ 10 program. Visit our events calendar for other book-centric events at all our Bookmans locations all month long. ¡Viva los libros!
