Ignite Phoenix is an evening of presentations designed to inspire, educate, and entertain the greater Phoenix community. In one evening, attendees will hear 18 passionate speakers from creative, technical, and business communities. Speakers talk about their current projects or favorite ideas for just five minutes each. The evening also includes additional time for networking and informal follow-up with the presenters. A team of volunteers plan and stage the event through the Phoenix Innovation Foundation.
Bookmans, a sponsor for Ignite Phoenix, is passionate about literacy and education, free speech, the environment, and animal welfare. Bob Oldfather, founder and owner of Bookmans, used his creativity and passion to make Bookmans the unique force it has become, and he has shared his business experience in his participation with Ignite Phoenix. Take a look at the short video Bob created for Ignite Phoenix 4.
Less than a week away, the Ignite Phoenix 5 presentation event will be on Tuesday, November 3 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Tempe Center for the Arts at 700 W. Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe, Arizona. Advance tickets for this event sold out in under three hours because of the popularity of Ignite Phoenix within the community. But 100 free tickets have been reserved to hand out that night, one per person on a first-come first-served basis starting at 5 p.m. Check out the Ignite Phoenix website for walk-in ticket details and other viewing options including live video streaming online.
