Mel Mason, host of KXCI's The Road Show, passed along a reminder that the station's membership drive is currently in full swing. KXCI, Tucson's only members-supported community radio station, is one of 20 such radio stations left in the entire country. And if that tidbit wasn't sobering enough, the numbers indicate only 10% of KXCI's listeners are actual members. That means the other 90% of listeners could make a huge difference in the station's future by calling in and becoming a member.
