Join Bookmans in Tucson for 2nd Saturdays Downtown, tomorrow evening, to help celebrate Tucson's many cultures! We'll be handing out coupons for our Grant & Campbell location, and selling books; vinyl; children's books; a special deal on CDs and DVDs; and much, much more from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in a very special location, right across from the Ronstadt Center, at 45 N. 6th Ave.

This August 14 2nd Saturdays Downtown will feature great music, street performances, arts & crafts vendors, killer specials from downtown businesses, and more. There will be a free concert at the Fox Theater from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. featuring entertainment from local groups including Sticks & Fingers, Los Gallegos, and Mariachi Sonido de Mexico. Special guests include Olga Flores, Salvador Duran and the Gospel Music Workshop of America!

This event coincides with Tucson’s Birthday month-long celebration and the monthly 2nd Saturday Night festivities in Downtown Tucson. The free event, presented in collaboration with Tucson Meet Yourself, will also offer a special memories tribute to Cele Peterson. Donations gratefully accepted.

The main stage on Scott Avenue will feature local bands Roll Acosta (6:30 to 7:30 p.m.), Triple Double Band (7:45 to 9:00 p.m.), and The Tryst (9:15 to 10:30 p.m.). There will also be a special 2nd Saturdays Downtown discount for the BODIES Exhibition.
