February is Love of Reading Month and Bookmans Flagstaff has fun in store for you. For grown-ups only we have a Northern Arizona Book Festival event titled Ambivalent Cupid: Readings and Songs About Love. This event will feature poetry, creative nonfiction, ballads of love, wine and chocolate. The event takes place 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10 downtown on Route 66 at Sundara.

Ambivalent Cupid makes perfect plans for a cheap date night! Also for people aged 18 and up, we have Adult Craft Night (recycled paper and book craft) at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27.

For our families and kiddos we have our Kids Music Show and Party with a Valentine theme at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4 and a special love-themed storytime and kids’ craft party at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 10.

For all ages interested in the history of the Grand Canyon, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15 we have award-winning author Wayne Ranney visiting our café to talk about the history and science of the Grand Canyon as part of Arizona's Statewide Scitech festival.
