Are you interested in making films, directing, writing or producing? Do you know how much opportunity there is in Arizona? Well, we're here to help. The Independent Feature Project: Phoenix will be at our Phoenix store on Friday at 7:00 p.m. with award-winning writer/director/producers Bob Marquis (from Sailbear Films) and Paul Hoeprich (Catbrain Films) to take your questions, discuss getting into the business, opportunities in Arizona, and more. No reservations or sign-up is required for this free event.
In 2001, the Phoenix Film Project was created as the filmmakers’ arm of the Phoenix Film Foundation in order to foster an independent filmmaking community from the ground up. In March 2006, the Phoenix Film Project was re-named Independent Feature Project: Phoenix with the unanimous approval of all of the other IFP chapters throughout the country (New York, Chicago, Minneapolis/St. Paul and Seattle). Independent Feature Project: Phoenix (IFP/PHX) supports and develops the growth of independent filmmaking in Arizona through comprehensive training, networking and exhibition opportunities.
