Join us at our Grant and Campbell location in Tucson tomorrow, Saturday December 19th, for the grand opening of our brand new electric vehicle charging station. We'll have speakers, the reading of the Electric Vehicle-Friendly Community Proclamation, food and prizes! The fu n begins at 8:30am and will last until noon. Anyone who brings their electric vehicle or bike will get a $10 Bookmans gift certificate!
Our new, more efficient EV charging station is just one more way Bookmans is making Arizona a greener place to live. For our owner, Bob, electric cars are a true passion. He was one of the original owners of the EV1 and was instrumental in bringing EV charging stations to Tucson. Our new station will arrive just in time for the introduction of the exciting new EV, the Nissan Leaf.
And stay tuned for the openings of new charging stations at our Ina and Thronydale location in Tucson and at our Mesa store!

I enjoyed the grand opening of the EV charing station very much. Of course I came down in my own Eletric car. Now I can come to Bookmans, shop and fill my tank (Batteries) at the same time.
