Join us at Bookmans Phoenix this Saturday, November 1, and have your 4-5 year old child screened for pre-reading skills. The 'Get Ready to Read' screenings are designed to help parents ensure that their young child is equipped with the fundamental skills necessary for learning how to read.

The Arizona Literacy & Learning Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving literacy in Arizona. The goal of 'Get Ready to Read' is to screen children for pre-reading skills before they enter kindergarten and provide skill-strengthening activities to ensure their success, while increasing public awareness about the importance of early childhood development, health, and literacy. Here at Bookmans we know it's never too early to share our love of reading with children.

Come out on Saturday, November 21st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each screening takes 10-15 minutes and afterward each child will receive an activity guide, a make & take literacy craft, and a $10 coupon for books! Please arrive early as this program has limited space available!
