Bookmans News

We had an amazing time this week at the fourth annual Loft Cinema’s Tucson International Children’s Film Festival! Kids of all ages were thrilled to receive a free copy of Lynn Reid Banks’ The Indian in the Cupboard and we gave away every single copy we had before the sold-out screening. We’ll also gave away two fantastic $100 Bookmans gift baskets, filled to the brim with book & movie pairs of our favorite children’s stories, special Bookmans merchandise, and a $50 Bookmans gift certificate! The lucky recipients were thrilled beyond words – just check out those smiles.

It was also great to see David and Lisette from Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle’s Toys as they led the crowd of eager kids in a fun pre-movie craft! This film festival is such a unique and valuable addition to Tucson’s summer activities and we were so glad to be a part again this year. This is the final weekend of the Festival and they are finishing with two excellent films for the whole family.
