Bookmans in Flagstaff is having a blast hosting free summer kids events at the Orpheum Theater every Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. We've had over a hundred people at each event, and every week is a party! We've hosted earthworm education from Willow Bend and raptors from the Arboretum.We've decorated reusable tote-bags and tee-shirts for father's day, and made cool collages of trees. This coming Wednesday, we'll host the Coconino Humane Society's educational program “How to Care for Your Pet” and the kids will get to play with and even name some puppies and kittens. August 4th is our final free kids event, and we're going all out with Chuck Cheesman's Kids' Show “Dancing With No Shoes On,” face-painting, balloon-sculpting, reusable tote-bag decorating, and free snacks.
