Bookman's Blog

Last weekend we had buying and selling events at the Coconino Center for the Arts and at the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce. It would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our staff. Everyone did a fantastic job. We noticed a few that deserve special recognition for outstanding work.

For the second weekend in May, we would like to recognize Ben Williams and Regina Schantz!

Ben Williams

Ben Williams is our EEC and Café Supervisor. He has worked for Bookmans Flagstaff for almost five years. On Saturday he carried deals up the Center for the Arts stairs all day long. Ben kept the product flowing from car to trade counter to Bookmans truck with only small breaks from the lifting, dragging, and hauling. When asked, coworkers had this to say of working with Ben:

“I enjoy his light, airy, fun loving nature.”
“I like his business face; it’s kinda like Vin Diesel.”
“I didn’t know that Vin Diesel worked for Bookmans!”
“Ohhh Ben, we see right through the curmudgeon.”

Thanks to Ben for all his hard work!

Regina Schantz

Regina Schantz is our Visual Merchandiser. She has worked for Bookmans Flagstaff for almost five years as well! Regina is always ready to do any task including setting up a new mini-store every weekend. She is flexible and hard working and always super fun to be around. When asked, coworkers had this to say of working with Regina:

“I like her accent and she always works with a smile!”
“She’s so sweet and happy.”
“I like her rough and tumble style and her hard nose attitude.”
“She lets me watch Glee and borrow books.”

Thanks to Regina for all her hard work!
