Last weekend we had our first buying and selling event. It would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our staff. Everyone did a fantastic job. We noticed a few that deserve special recognition for outstanding work.
For the first weekend in May, we would like to recognize Matt Christiansen and Robert Watts.

Matt is our Book Department Supervisor. He has worked for Bookmans for more than 18 years! He is always a hard worker with attention to detail and quality. On Saturday, he did more deals than we thought was humanly possible! You could even say that he has Super Human deal powers! When asked, coworkers have this to say about working with Matt:
“I haven’t worked with him lately, but I love his hair.”
“Matt knows his stuff!”
“He’s always got your back.”
“I love when he sings his ‘you are great!’ song. It always makes me smile.”
Thanks to Matt for always being reliable, honest and fun.

Robert is one of our Electronics Entertainment Center (EEC) staff. He has worked for Bookmans Flagstaff for almost two years. He has excellent gaming skills and pulls a decent espresso shot too. Robert has been invaluable in helping get the trucks packed and ready to go on Friday nights. He does what ever needs to be done. He also taught me how to use a ratchet tie! When asked, coworkers had this to say about working with Robert Watts:
“Oh! He’s so sweet, he’s smart too!”
“I don’t mind it.”
“He knows where the best stuff is on the internet.”
“Without Robert, I might have lost a tooth!”
Thanks to Robert Watts for being awesome and informative.
