This last Saturday at Earth Day 2010, Bookmans set-up a few tables and started buying stuff back from all the Flagstaff residents who have been saving it up for us since January 21st, when our store collapsed! We also had tote-bag decorating for kids and a booth with free tee-shirts, reusable tote bags, yoyos and other fun stuff. It was so nice to see customers we have been missing for the last few months, and to reassure everyone that we will indeed be back (better than ever) this fall!

 

 

Since it was Earth Day, and there was no parking near our buy table, folks found lots of creative ways to bring their things in to sell! The most common solution was the bike trailer. It seems like lots of folks hooked-up their Burley trailer or even a homemade contraption involving milk crates and zip ties, filled it with great stuff to sell Bookmans, and pedaled on down to the festivities. Thank you Flagstaff, once again, for your loyal support! Also, for those who missed Earth Day, have more to sell us, or miss shopping our great used stuff, we will begin buying and selling at the Chamber of Commerce parking lot starting May 1st and 2nd from 10am-4pm! We will continue buying and selling every Saturday and Sunday all summer whenever we’re not set-up at a community event like Bookmans Video Game Challenge, the Flagstaff Music Festival or Pride in the Pines.
