Thanks to our great customers in Flagstaff, we had a great turn-out at our first buy and sell at the Chamber of Commerce this last Saturday. Although we had to cancel Sunday’s event due to the snow, we still had boxes and boxes of great merchandise to take back to the warehouse. At this rate, we’ll have enough merchandise to fill our new store in no time! We were so surprised by the amount of traffic and great merchandise we were offered that we are going to revise our whole system next weekend, with more room to pull through the lot, and more employees available to make buying and selling go faster and smoother. Saturday was a fun party, complete with snacks, drinks, balloon sculpting, face-painting, and great local music, all day! Bookmans loves to support local music, and we were happy to see all the musicians we’re so used to hosting in our store. Here are some pictures from Saturday. If you missed us last weekend, we’ll be buying and selling at the Coconino Center for the Arts in the Recycled Art Exhibition from 11am to 5pm next Saturday May 8th, and we’ll be back at the Chamber of Commerce from 10am to 4pm on Sunday May 9th!
