The Phoenix cult film and music community is pulling together to help one of their own after a devastating house fire. Danny Marianino, frontman of hardcore band North Side Kings and one of the minds behind cult movie website/podcast ICanSmellYourBrains.com, lost everything on Wednesday night and his friends will be holding a last-minute benefit at Chandler Cinemas this Saturday, June 6th, at 7 p.m.

Here's the story from Andrea Beesley-Brown, aka the Midnite Movie Mamacita:

When tragedy strikes, we band together! One of our favorite guys lost his house on Wednesday night to a tragic house fire. A backyard grill caught the house of Danny from iCanSmellYourBrains on fire and he sadly lost the whole house, including his amazing collection of collectible movie rarities.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. Danny, his two roommates, and the five dogs were not injured but, as you can imagine, losing your home, possessions, computer data, everything...it is completely devastating. So we are throwing a last-minute benefit to raise some cash for our favorite Jersey boy.
