The Emperor's New Clothes is the story of the kingdom of Glump falling apart ever since the emperor became wrapped up in his tasteless wardrobe. Not only is he a big-headed clotheshound, his three daughters are quickly becoming chips off the old blockhead. Enter two con artists, Wart and Hog, who devise their ingenious plan for fleecing the emperor and stripping him of his money. Naturally everyone pretends to see the magic cloth and the emperor’s new clothes, until a serving boy points out the truth and the selfishness of the emperor. Great music and great characters made this a must see show for the entire family!

The mission of the East Valley Children's Theatre is to provide young people in the East Valley with the opportunity to participate in community-based, quality theatre events for the purpose of developing and enhancing confidence, individual creativity and self-esteem. They are dedicated to the development of performers, crews and audiences.
