We had a great time this past weekend at Bookmans Speedway with the Hermitage Cat Shelter and our Comic Create event!! The Hermitage crew was great with an awesome response from the customers. They had Jimmy the cat hanging out and handed out a ton of literature on their Catch-Neuter-Release program.

The Comic Create event was a very cool addition to our Saturday events. Local Tucson artists Greg Mannin and Jonnie Allan were in the store offering live demonstrations on the artistic process for comic art. These guys got set up and then got busy creating amazing works of comic art! Bookmans is thrilled to feature Comic Create events in all of our locations over the next couple months in celebration of the upcoming Phoenix Comic Con!! If you missed this first event, you can still catch the action on Friday, March 19 at Bookmans Ina; Saturday, March 20 at Bookmans Phoenix; or Saturday, March 27 at Bookmans Grant.
