July is officially the Dog Days of Summer here at Bookmans and today we celebrated our beloved pets by making picture frames for them! For this craft we had an assortment of puppies and kitties of all colors to choose from and customize. Different eyes, noses, collars and other accessories were used to make each pet stand out. Some of the kids who came to the craft today labeled their frames with their pets names, like Pepper, Honey, Aki, and one kid who didn't have a cat told me that if he did he would name it Frisbee. We had a lot of fun here today, and at this point it is expected, because all the Summer Kids Events are awesome! Next week we're making our own Fandango puppets, hope to see you then!
