Are you the champion of the Mushroom Cup Grand Prix? Do the names Chun-Li, Guile, and Ryu mean anything to you? Bookmans is throwing down the gauntlet this May with the Bookmans Video Game Challenge '09: two tournaments, five stores, and over $2,500 in Bookmans prizes.

Same date, same time in all three markets (Bookmans Mesa will not be participating due to the remodel) for these two tournaments. See the full schedule in our Events Calendar.

On Saturday, May 16th, gamers 13 years old and under can race for the finish line in the Mario Kart Double Dash Challenge on Gamecube. Sign-ups will run from 1-2 p.m. Spaces are LIMITED and the tournament will begin promptly at 2 p.m.

And on Saturday, May 30th, gamers 14 and older can show their fiercest combo moves in the Street Fighter IV Challenge on XBox 360. Again, sign-ups will run from 1-2 p.m.. Spaces are LIMITED and the tournament will begin at 2 p.m.

The tournaments will run until we have a champion!
