Flagstaff's premier three-day bluegrass and acoustic music festival, Pickin' in the Pines, is next weekend, Sept. 17 through 19 at Pine Mountain Amphitheater. Bookmans will be outside near the parking lot buying your stuff (taking deals from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day) and will be inside PMA selling great music merchandise, giving-away T-shirts, leading kids tote bag decorating, sponsoring Chuck Cheesman's kids shows, and lots more.

If you want to sell us your stuff, you can drive on in as if you were going to the fair and look for our big 20x20 booth with drop-off spots in the front. You don't need to be attending the festival to sell to us. Bookmans employees will be happy to help folks unload their cars before they need to park. For those going to the festival, we recommend bringing only what you can carry, since the parking lots are a little way from where our buying tent will be located. This is the last chance to buy and sell with Bookmans before the store reopens, since we are shifting our energy away from buying and selling, and toward the final push to reopen!
We hope you'll buy a weekend pass and come join the fun! You will need a weekend pass to attend the festival, hear all the great music, take part in the kids events and workshops, and to buy from Bookmans and get a free Bookmans swag. Pickin' in the Pines is going to be a great time, and this year, they are excited to be hosting the Seldom Scene for their first Flagstaff appearance, as well as Audie Blaylock & Redline, John Reischman & the Jaybirds, The Dixie Bee-Liners, The Freight Hoppers and others. Visit the official Pickin' in the Pines website for a full schedule, and even to hear sound clips of all the bands! Kids tote bag decorating will be Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. inside PMA. Chuck Cheeseman will be playing his awesome kids' shows in the Yavapai Ramada at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday and 1:10 p.m. on Sunday.
You have until this Thursday at midnight to get your advance weekend passes to attend this award-winning festival. You can buy your tickets using the website, or, if you'd rather buy tickets in person, you can buy advance tickets in downtown Flagstaff at Arizona Music Pro, the Wine Loft, Rainbow's End and the Orpheum Theater ticket office until this Thursday. After Thursday, tickets will only be available at the gate.
See you out there!
