We hope your New Year resolution was to amp up your sense of adventure because it's time for the January Edition of Bookmans Phoenix Treasure Hunt. The search for local business booty is about to begin! In December Noble Beast Natural Market hid the treasure in their royal building on Camelback but where might we have hidden it this month?

Supporting local businesses strengthens our local economy and a strong economy means a stronger community. As part of our commitment to local businesses and the community, Bookmans Entertainment Exchange is a member of Local First Arizona. Their ShiftAZ campaign encouraging shopping at local businesses has inspired us to use our noggins, crank up our creativity and find a fun way to support other companies while bringing you added value.
Strengthen your neighborhood by making your quest to support local businesses. First you need to follow @bookmansphoenix on Twitter because that is where we'll post clues that will lead you straight to the treasure. This month's riches include sweet gift prizes like unique pet goods from Noble Beast Natural Market for Pets, vouchers to see Alfred Hitchcock's 39 Steps at the Arizona Theater Company, coupons for B.O.B. Merchandise and a few other surprises. We can't divulge all the fun that waits for you. Put on your plaid hat and grab your bubble-smoking pipe because this is going to be a genuine mysterious adventure.
The three clues will be twittered on Tuesday, Jan. 16 and you will have until Friday, Jan. 19 to use your Sherlock smarts and locate the hidden treasure. Please note that there are a few rules. Use the secret password "I love Bookmans" or you'll never retrieve your local business booty. Only one prize pack per group. Can't partake in this great hunt? Keep an eye on the closest Bookmans Twitter account to you and keep up with the hunts each store puts together along with the partnerships of other LocalFirstAZ businesses every month!
