Twitter Treasure Hunt is back in action at Bookmans Phoenix! A gift basket is hidden at a Local First AZ business somewhere in the metro area and it's up to you to make the discovery. As part of our commitment to strengthening the local community and economy, Bookmans Entertainment Exchange is a member of Local First AZ. LFA's ShiftAZ campaign encourages Phoenicians to switch from national chains to local businesses for all consumer needs. So, get ready to decipher covert clues via the Bookmans Phoenix Twitter feed because this is a win-win competition. All participants will gain the inside scoop on the hippest local spots in Phoenix and a few lucky winners will take home a prize.

Bookmans Phoenix staff member prepares for the hunt.

Tracking down local loot is easy. A different undisclosed Local First AZ business will be chosen each month, it is there where the treasure lurks. Simply use the clues from @BookmansPhoenix via Twitter, which will be posted once a day Monday-Thursday, February 18-21. When you think you've guessed the Local First AZ business' secret identity, direct message @BookmansPhoenix with your conjecture. We will tell you yes or no. If you are correct, pay a visit to the business in question and redeem your prize with the password, "I Love Bookmans Phoenix." A basket of goodies awaits. But be sure to submit your guesses via Twitter on or before Thursday, February 21. The name of February's mystery business will be revealed on Friday, February 22.

Best of luck to all of those who accept the challenge. Bookmans Phoenix and Local First AZ will team up each month to provide more local treasures and mystery locations. Send us your suggestions! We would love to hear what Local First AZ Business you love -– one just might become the next object of Bookmans' Twitter Treasure Hunt. To the thrill of the pursuit!
