This past weekend, we kicked off the fourth annual Tucson International Children's Film Festival at The Loft Cinema, and Bookmans is proud to once again be a participating sponsor. The Loft's TICFF is a nine-day celebration of great children’s cinema, with classic children's films, foreign features, and fun interactive activities – not to mention the awesome free popcorn for the whole family!

On Wednesday, July 28, Bookmans is pleased to present this year’s book-to-movie featured film – The Indian in the Cupboard! This award-winning young-adult novel by Lynn Reid Banks is a thrilling adventure tale of a lonely boy who discovers a magical wooden cabinet that can bring his plastic toys to life. We’ve been collecting copies of this wonderful children’s book all summer long at our stores, and we’ll be giving away 150+ free copies to the kids in attendance. We’ll also be raffling off two fantastic $100 Bookmans gift baskets, filled to the brim with book & movie pairs of our favorite children’s stories, special Bookmans merchandise, and a $50 Bookmans gift certificate!

Supplies are limited and the theater always fills up fast, so be sure to get in line early on Wednesday morning. The screening starts at 10:00 a.m., but the theater opens up early so kids can participate in fun, interactive games and crafts with the glorious crew from from Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle’s Toys!
