The Arizona Derby Dames are back in action again this weekend, on Saturday, March 20! All five of your favorite Arizona Derby Dames teams: the Bombshells, the Coffin Draggers, the Schoolyard Scrappers, and the Runaway Brides and the 2009 champions, the Brutal Beauties will bring it on in 2010 at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

This season the girls are debuting a brand new banked track. After four successful years the league has been working hard in their off-season to build and practice for this debut. What is a banked track? A traditional roller derby type sloped oval track, constructed of wood, steel, and masonite. The March 20 double header will kick off with matches against the Schoolyard Scrappers and the Brutal Beauties! Don't miss it, doors open at 6pm and the bout starts at 7:00 p.m.

Bookmans has been a proud supporter of the Arizona Derby Dames for four consecutive seasons. We are excited to watch the women skate on a banked track.
