Earth Month is one of our favorite times of year and we have a variety of in-store events for those thinking green: Meet the inventor of Biosphere 2, learn about rainwater harvesting and solar power, bring the kids to a Spring Seed Planting Party, and experience the plethora of Earth Day festivals and events happening in communities throughout Arizona.

Bookmans is proud to be a part of Pima County's 2009 Clean Air Days & Bike Fest, a month-long celebration of air quality and alternative transportation. Bike 2 Work Week is April 13-17 in Tucson and Bookmans is hosting a breakfast for participants on Friday, April 17th, 7-9 a.m., in Jacome Plaza. And kids can learn about supporting our desert environment during special Bike & Book story times at our Speedway, Grant, and Ina stores throughout the month - check our Events Calendar for dates and times.

And be sure to swing by our booths at the 15th Annual Tucson Earth Day Festival in Reid Park on Saturday, April 4th, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., and Phoenix Earth Day 2009 at Cesar Chavez Plaza, downtown Phoenix, on Saturday, April 22nd, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
