Our Altered Art classes at Bookmans in Mesa are increasing in popularity, but has always been full on creativity, community, and cheer.

What is Altered Art? It is an exploration of personal and sacred space. By using everyday, obtainable objects, we create meaningful tools for focus and concentration. Altered Art can be used for gifting something unique and personal to someone special, or merely to convey an appreciation of a subject or idea.
In our last class, we use a “pre-packaged” technique that utilizes a variety of objects, papers and text. Participants blindly chose a packet and created their shrine from the items included. This class was a stepping stone to familiarize participants with the idea so they could take on the challenge of creating another shrine on their own -- one using items that personify unique creative selves.
Please join us at Bookmans in Mesa on September 18th, where our very own Music Manager Megan will be hosting the next Altered Art Class. Space is limited for these very popular classes, so call or come in today to get signed up.
