Iron Man is the long-awaited big screen adaptation of the Marvel Comics series, featuring Robert Downey, Jr. as the Howard Hughes-esque Tony Stark, who receives a piece of shrapnel to the chest and evolves into a crime-fighting superhero. And that's on top of being a multi-billionaire genius and recovering alcoholic. Comics: they ain't just for kids, kids.
The film also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Terrence Howard, and Jeff Bridges, and is directed by Jon "Swingers" Favreau.
