On Thurs., Dec. 6, Bookmans Phoenix celebrated the unveiling of Madison Traditional Academy's 2nd grade Literacy Center.
The Phoenix store donated over 200 books valued at over $600, as well as the bookshelves to house them (valued at $175), to Ms. Gaia’s 2nd grade class.
“The kids are so excited to have your help!” said Ms. Gaia. The kids dived into the piles of various children’s books and excitedly put them on the shelves.
“It is amazing to see how excited the kids are about the new books,” Commented Catherine Tiffany, Parent Coordinator for the LiteracyCenter
Bookmans was able to donate many books, including titles such as: "Magic Tree House" series, the "Magic School Bus" chapter series, Beverly Clearly, the "Jigsaw Jones" series, the "Bailey School" and "Bailey City School" series, Louis Sachar, "Goosebumps", the "Henry & Mudge" series, the "Mr. Putter & Tabby" series and Judy Blume.
